Millington Public Library

Millington Public Library
Millington, Tennessee 38053
<a href="http://www.cityofmillington.org/library/"target="_blank">www.cityofmillington.org/library

From Tim:
"The other day, Scott and I were discussing all of these great buildings scattered around town which no-one knows about and are on the verge of being destroyed. It got me thinking about a local building in the Milli-tissel which I really admire. Last Thursday, Todd and I stopped by the Germantown Post Office, which apparently was once a very nice modern building. Our visit reaffirmed my beliefs in just how lucky we are in Millington to have this great little library which no-one has really updated since it was constructed. The only updates have been the addition of a suspended ceiling inside, assuming to conceal hvac units & duct work, which screwed up the wonderful vaults of the ceiling.

At any rate, I thought I would share a little gem of a building which most of you have probably never seen or heard about. Attached are the photos."
